On March 18, 2025, the 2025 Spring National College Fire Safety Open Course was held at Wuhan University, organized by the National Fire Rescue Administration and the Ministry of Education, and hosted by the Hubei Provincial Fire Rescue Corps, the Hubei Provincial Department of Education, and Wuhan University. During the course, Prof. Chao Zhang and fire safety experts covered three main topics: fire prevention, escape and evacuation, and fire emergency response. They provided students and faculty with comprehensive fire safety knowledge, sparking widespread attention across society. This "national-level" fire safety course, which took three months of preparation, delivered an innovative and immersive learning experience, combining advanced technology with cutting-edge teaching methods, offering university students and staff an exceptional audio-visual feast.
